Speakers: Applied Math Graduate Students, UNC-Chapel Hill

Abstract: This week is our Graduate Research Showcase! Graduate students in Applied Math will be presenting their research in preparation for UNC’s 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition at the end of this month.
The lightning talk format will mirror the 3MT competition:
One static slide with no movies or animations
Presentation under 3 minutes long
Clear background and significance to the research question, research strategy
(results and impact of research optional – can present on early progress of research)
Come and support our graduate students as they share their exciting work and refine their “elevator pitch”.
