Spectral Deferred Corrections
- My former post-doc Anita Layton and I developed new time integration strategies for problems with multiple stiff terms, so called multi-implicit spectral deferred correction methods
- I work with my colleague Jingfang Huang and his PhD. student Jun Jia on accelerating spectral deferred correction methods for ODEs and DAEs.

Projection Methods for incompressible flow
- Most recently I have developed higher-order projection methods for viscous flows based on a semi-implicit spectral deferred corrections strategy.
- I also studied the correct formulation of conditions Boundary Conditions for Semi-Implict Methods
- One of my first projects was the study of spurious vortices
- I have had a long term interest in Singularities in Boussinesq Convection

Immersed boundaries in incompressible flows
- I developed the Blob Projection Method for modelling immersed boundaries in incompressible flows with Ricardo Cortez.
- My current PhD. student Liz Bouzarth is working on methods that utilize regularized Stokeslets
